Outdoor Classroom Design
To the left are some pictures of the poster we made. Our idea was to make an outdoor classroom in "the box", in between the cafeteria and the art building. Our roof structure would be 25 x 25 feet, and once side would be 8 feet tall, while the other side would be 10 feet. This is a 5 degree angle of slant for drainage purposes. There would be wood 2' x 4's going across and clear pvc corrugated roofing nailed on the top. On the sides would be trellises with Silver Bells Chocolate Vines growing up them. This gives our classroom sunlight and a beautiful outdoors feeling.

Our tables were arranged in a V shape so seeing the board was easy. The tables were made of a 4' x 4' of plywood with a layer of plexiglass on top. The legs were 4" x 4"s. For seating, we bought cute little metal stools in all colors. The seats were arranged so everyone could see the whiteboard. The ground was recycled wood chips. We were able to work on this design for quite a few weeks, and we think we really accomplished a lot.

Reflection
I thought this project was a pretty good one. I want to improve on my productivity and staying on task. A lot of the times I would get into a conversation with my group and we wouldn't get that much done. Also, it is sort of a good thing because we all got along really well and that helped us get things done. We were always doing something, even if it was just having a conversation. We finished our designs fairly quick and were able to pull everything together. We were the only ones with a poster and I thought we made it look really nice. I'm proud of what we did and our ideas and I wish we could do another project like this!
